2009 7th Grade Coach Profile

7th GRADE COACH, MARK KARTER

Mark Karter is starting his second stint as Jr High baseball coach. He has spent the last 18 years teaching and coaching in the Westbrook school system. Mark currently teaches 7th grade science at Westbrook Jr High. Coach Karter is looking to teach the fundamentals of the game, and instill a work ethic and positive attitude that will help these players advance in the competitive arena of Westbrook Baseball. Mark is a 1981 graduate of Waterville High school and has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Maine at Farmington. He currently resides in Gorham with his wife Laurie and has three children, Maeghan, Cameron, and Mason.
