Westbrook's Jr Legion baseball team are the 2011 Northeast Regional Champions. After winning a hard fought state championship series verses the Windham Merchants, the team moved on to the 8 team Northeast Regional Tournament in New Bedford, Ma. Westbrook used team play, superior pitching and timely hitting to win games against Bristol, CT, Brooklawn, NJ and Cranston, RI to win the first Northeast Region Jr Legion Championship for a Maine team.
